Our rooms
When you step through the large wooden door into the entrance hall, the fully-equipped kitchen is on your right, and the lounge and dining rooms are on your left.
The lounge has a large television, and a DVD player, and reclining sofas.
The dining room, with table and chairs, has an old wooden buffet, with lots of board games.
Go through to the rear hall, where the Diamond Room is on your right, and the stairs lead to the first floor rooms.
There is a table, chairs and a book case, with a selection of books and DVDs.
The rear door opens onto the garden and the sun terrace where there are sun loungers, parasols, tables and chairs for relaxation or sunbathing..
The pool overlooks the hidden valley, fields and woods.
You are welcome to explore the Estate, find rare flowers and plants, fish in the lakes, try to spot the turtles as they bask in the sun, listen to the many varieties of bird calls (including nightingales), and, later on, lift your eyes to the skies, and marvel at the myriad stars in all their glory. There is no light pollution here, so it is possible to see the Milky Way, satellites, and shooting stars.
The Gold Room
The Gold Room is on the first floor, overlooking the lakes.
King size bed, and private en-suite facilities (shower, wc, wash basin), fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers, table and chair, and comfy chair.
The Ruby Room
The Ruby Room is on the first floor, overlooking the ruins of the Chateau de Gurson.
King size bed, and private en-suite facilities (shower, wc, wash basin), fitted wardrobe, table and chair, and comfy chair.
The Emerald Suite
The Emerald Room is on the first floor, overlooking the ruins of the Chateau de Gurson, and has a separate luxury bathroom.
King size bed, antique wardrobe, table and chair, and comfy chair.
The bathroom has a corner bath with shower attachment, wc, foot spa, chair, two wash basins in front of a wall of mirrors.
The Sapphire Room
The Sapphire Room is on the first floor, overlooking the lakes.
Twin beds, and private en-suite facilities (shower, wc, wash basin), fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers, and comfy chair.
The Diamond Room
The Diamond Room is on the ground floor, overlooking the garden.
